Good answers start
with honest coverage.

This is a growing research collection, not a complete all-time record book. We show what is captured, what is supported, and where the gaps remain.

What years can I explore?

Women’s match records cover 1999–2019 and 2021–2026; men’s cover 2000–2026. Women’s 2026 season is ongoing in this snapshot. Earlier varsity years remain uncompiled. A located record does not certify a complete career.

How are four-match comparisons calculated?

Four consecutive UH team matches within one season, with participation and complete attack counts in each. Hitting percentage = (total kills − total errors) ÷ total attempts. We compare exact fractions and show all ties on the latest date. No minimum attempts is imposed unless you choose one.

What does a positional comparison mean?

Comparisons use supported season roster roles, including documented hybrids. They do not prove court position in every match. Unknown roles are excluded from positional comparisons. Mixed-role players can share more than one role; the result explains which scope was used.

Where does the data come from?

Official UH season statistics, match logs and rosters, with retained source versions and validation checks. Ten non-core source discrepancies and historical position gaps remain. Missing values are never silently changed to zero. Statistics shown here use the October 19 website snapshot.
